Early Learning at NECA is a child's first experience of school, so it is built around warmth, structure, and repetition. Teachers work on letters and sounds, early numbers, listening, and the ordinary habits that help a young student feel settled in a classroom.
Coursework at this level uses the Abeka curriculum, taught in a traditional, structured way, with Bible classes and chapel as part of the week.

The parts of Early Learning that hold true every year
Phonics-first reading
Abeka materials introduce letters, sounds, and blending in a sequence, so reading is taught step by step rather than picked up incidentally.
Bible and chapel
Bible stories, prayer, and chapel are part of the week from the beginning, in language a young child can follow.
Steady routines
A predictable daily rhythm, clear expectations, and gentle correction help young students learn how to be part of a class.
One campus
Early Learning shares the campus with older grades, so families are not restarting at a new school after kindergarten.
