Secondary

Grades 7 to 12, on the same campus.

Secondary students move into subject-based coursework and carry more responsibility for their own work. NECA continues with the Abeka curriculum through twelfth grade, and students remain on the campus they already know, with teachers who have often taught them for years.

Coursework at this level uses the Abeka curriculum, taught in a traditional, structured way, with Bible classes and chapel as part of the week.

What families can expect

The parts of Secondary that hold true every year

  • Subject-based coursework

Students take defined courses through graduation, with Bible remaining part of the schedule alongside academic subjects.

  • A dual credit option

Dual credit coursework is available to eligible secondary students. The front office can explain current requirements and costs.

  • Athletics and school life

Basketball, flag football, volleyball, cheerleading, Homecoming, and spirit week are part of the secondary experience.

  • Known by name

A small campus means teachers, coaches, and office staff know students personally through their last years of school.
